Who Will Be Crowned Champion? Share your Thoughts!
Eighty-two regular season games, 12 post season wins, and it all comes down to this. One series left. The first to 4 victories is crowned the Stanley Cup Champions. Who’s it going to be? The Big Bad Bruins or VANCITY’s Canucks?
We want to hear your thoughts on who’s going to win this one. Is it going to be the offensive powerhouse made up of Kesler, Burrows and the Sedins? Or is going to be the intimidating, in-your-face bruins?
Playoff hockey doesn’t get any better than this. Although Vancouver advanced to the finals by what many believed to be a “fluke” goal, I still believe they deserve to be there. As for the Bruins, they were solid all year and are extremely dangerous at even strength.
One thing the Bruins have trouble with is their power play. It’s functioning way below average. In game 1 of the finals, they managed to not score in 6 attempts with a man advantage. Mark Recchi gave them their only power play scoring chance. No offense to the guy, but Boston needs their big guns to step it up. Kaberle has yet to turn heads…
Luckily, Timmy Thomas is standing on his head. If it weren’t for him, the big bad Bruins would already be swinging away on the golf course.
VANCITY is looking solid. They’re playing with grit and a will to win. Kesler can do it all. Luongo finally seems ready, especially after getting rid of the Blackhawks. The Sedins are just phenomal. Enough said.
So who’s it going to be? We want to hear your thoughts. Leave a comment below telling us WHO you think will win the series, by WHAT score, and also WHICH player is going to make the difference.
So let’s here it…

First off, love the new site layout. It looks great. Also love the articles you post. They great.
This years stanley cup champions is gonna be the Bruins. They’re too strong. I think it’s going to go to game 7, and the Bruins will win because of their physical play.
I think Bergeron will make the difference in the upcoming games and Thomas too.
It should be a good one!

Listen… You can’t discredit the Bruins by any means. You’re definitely right about their physical play but i truly don’t believe they’ll be able to grind out the win over Vancouver’s offensive powerhouse. First game definitely proved that it’s going to be a tight series but Vancouver will calm down, play their type of Hockey and take the cup. If not, I’d be mighty surprised.
